Description
The Eastern Cross Silver is used widely in Orthodox Churches and has been in use for centuries.
The Eastern Cross has two additional horizontal beams at the top and bottom area. The top horizontal beam signifies the title INRI that Pontius Pilate gave to Jesus when he was crucified. The lower slanted beam is believed to signify the footrest on which Jesus’ legs were nailed to. There is also a belief that the slanting of the lower beam shows the belief of the good thief versus the disbelief of the bad thief.
This silver cross comes with an elegant design and a fixed base that can be used to mount the cross. A must have for every home.
